Our Mission

Setting women and men free from the bondage of addiction and trauma by treating the spirit, soul, and body (1 Thess 5:23) through programming that integrates faith, fitness, and fellowship. Fitness is a training ground for growing in righteous character (Heb 12:11). It is a tangible experience that allows us to experience denying ourselves, picking up our cross (Matt 16:24), suffering and enduring through adversity, while being in fellowship with other like-minded individuals to overcome the hard things in life.

At Set Free Gymistry, we aim to model, through our own testimonies, and through allowing our participants the opportunity to move through a workout with grace and perseverance, that even in the toughest workout or in the face of the biggest life obstacle, we can endure and serve God through it all (2 Cor 6:8).

At Set Free Gymistry, we wish to break down the stigma that to serve God, we must be doing seemingly “spiritual things”. The Bible says that anything we do in our bodies is a form of spiritual worship (Rom 12:1). We hope to empower people to take their worship out of bounds and acknowledge who they are in Christ no matter where they are or what they are doing!
